About project
Combix is a personalised planner for people who are fed up with being overwhelmed. It helps you organise your tasks based on the time you have available, track the time actually spent, and manage your workload.
My work
I researched existing planners and my own workflows. I independently developed the concept, name, brand identity, structure and UX/UI. I used ChatGPT for analysis, Figma for the initial mock-ups and Codex for implementation and subsequent iterations, making all product and design decisions myself.
I combined tasks and days into a single grid to visualise the overall distribution of work. I implemented daily limits and colour-coded overload indicators, quick time presets, the ability to carry hours over between dates, and a built-in timer to compare the plan with actual progress.
I developed a responsive interface for computers, tablets and phones, with light and dark themes, and support for English and Russian. I created components and a design system within the project’s code, and implemented task management, user accounts, notifications, built-in support and user guides.
Result: after two weeks of intensive work, I’ve put together the first working version — from analysis and branding to design and implementation. I use Combix every day for planning and time tracking: the experience I’ve gained helps me estimate similar tasks more accurately. I’m continuing to develop the product.
